2026年3月7日,由全加华人联会(NCCC)埃德蒙顿分会主办、并获得阿尔伯塔省民族文化资助基金支持的 “家暖融春晓 · 族彩汇和音——多元文化春日庆典” 在The Lingnan成功举行。
On March 7, 2026, the National Congress of Chinese Canadians (NCCC) Edmonton Chapter successfully hosted the “Families in Harmony · Ethnocultural Spring Celebration” at The Lingnan Restaurant. The event was supported by the Government of Alberta’s Ethnocultural Grant Program.
活动在喜庆热闹的氛围中拉开帷幕。弘德文化体育协会醒狮团以精彩的舞狮表演引领嘉宾入场,锣鼓喧天,瑞狮献瑞,为庆典带来浓厚的节日气氛。随后,本地歌唱家 Brittany Blommaert 带领全体来宾齐唱加拿大国歌。
The celebration opened in a lively and festive atmosphere. The Hong De Cultural and Athletic Association Lion Dance Team led guests into the venue with an energetic lion dance performance, accompanied by the rhythmic sound of drums and cymbals, bringing auspicious blessings and excitement to the event. Local soprano Brittany Blommaert then led guests in the singing of the Canadian national anthem.
全加华人联会埃德蒙顿分会主席虞仲孚医生致欢迎辞。他表示,“家庭和谐”不仅象征著社区的团结与温暖,也寓意著不同文化之间的理解与尊重。在多元文化社会中,通过文化交流与分享,可以让不同族裔之间增进瞭解,共同建设更加和谐美好的社区。
Dr. Donald Yu, President of NCCC Edmonton, delivered the welcome remarks. He noted that the theme “Families in Harmony” symbolizes not only unity and warmth within the community, but also mutual understanding and respect among cultures. In a multicultural society, cultural exchange and shared traditions help foster deeper connections and contribute to building a more inclusive and harmonious community.
随后,爱城市长 Andrew Knack 代表市政府致辞,祝贺活动成功举办并赞扬华人社区长期以来为爱城社会发展和多元文化建设所作出的积极贡献。他感谢主办方与义工的付出,强调此类庆典既丰富文化生活,也促进族裔间交流与友谊。
Mayor Andrew Knack delivered remarks on behalf of the City of Edmonton, congratulating the organizers on the successful event. He recognized the Chinese Canadian community for its longstanding contributions to the city’s social development and multicultural landscape, and expressed appreciation to the organizers and volunteers for their dedication. He noted that events such as this enrich cultural life while strengthening intercultural dialogue and friendship.
联邦国会议员 Kelly McCauley 在讲话中也向华人社区送上诚挚祝福,他表示加拿大的多元文化正是国家的重要财富,通过这样的文化活动,可以让不同族裔更好地相互瞭解、相互尊重。
Member of Parliament Kelly McCauley also extended his greetings to the Chinese Canadian community. He emphasized that multiculturalism is one of Canada’s greatest strengths, and that community cultural events play an important role in fostering understanding and mutual respect among diverse communities.
此外,阿省议员 Nathan Ip 在现场向主办方颁发贺匾,Jackie Lovely 代表省长 Danielle Smith 颁发贺匾。联邦国会议员 Eleanor Olszewski(Edmonton Centre)亦向活动发来祝贺信表达支持。与此同时,省长办公室社区联络代表 Nicky Gocuan、市议员 Thu Parmar、Jon Morgan,以及阿尔伯塔大学原住民研究学院助理院长 Mandy Quon 等嘉宾也出席了当天的活动,与社区民众共同庆祝这一多元文化盛会。
In addition, Alberta MLA Nathan Ip presented a congratulatory plaque to the organizers, while MLA Jackie Lovely presented a plaque on behalf of Premier Danielle Smith. Member of Parliament Eleanor Olszewski (Edmonton Centre) also sent a letter of congratulations. In attendance were Nicky Gocuan from the Office of the Premier; City Councillors Thu Parmar and Jon Morgan; and Mandy Quon, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Native Studies at the University of Alberta, who joined community members in celebrating this multicultural gathering.
庆典节目丰富多彩,呈现了一场多元文化艺术盛宴。演出包括原住民传统 Pow Wow 舞蹈与 Jingle Dress Dance、阿富汗传统乐器 Dombora 演奏、中国古琴演奏《凤求凰》《平沙落雁》、Echo Ensemble 演绎的中西合璧音乐,以及 Brittany Blommaert 的女高音独唱。来自不同文化背景的艺术家通过音乐与舞蹈展示各自文化的独特魅力,赢得现场观众阵阵掌声。
The celebration featured a vibrant lineup of multicultural performances. Highlights included traditional Indigenous Pow Wow and Jingle Dress Dance, an Afghan Dombora instrumental performance, traditional Chinese guqin pieces 《凤求凰》 and 《平沙落雁》, cross-cultural music performed by the Echo Ensemble, and a soprano solo by Brittany Blommaert. Artists from diverse cultural backgrounds showcased the unique beauty of their traditions through music and dance, earning warm applause from the audience.
除了舞台表演外,活动现场还安排了多项文化互动体验,包括书法体验、传统游戏、中华传统小吃、财神送福以及幸运抽奖等环节。来宾们在轻松愉快的氛围中交流互动,感受农历新年的节庆气氛,也进一步增进了不同族裔社区之间的了解与友谊。
Beyond the stage performances, guests also enjoyed a variety of interactive cultural experiences, including Chinese calligraphy demonstrations, traditional games, Chinese festive snacks, a visit from the God of Fortune, and a lucky draw. The activities created a warm and welcoming environment where families and friends could connect while experiencing the festive spirit of the Lunar New Year, further strengthening understanding and friendship among different cultural communities.
主办方表示,“家暖融春晓 · 族彩汇和音——多元文化春日庆典”不仅是一场节日庆祝活动,更是促进不同文化社区交流的重要平台。未来将继续举办多元文化活动,为社区提供更多文化交流与互动的机会,推动社区和谐与文化多样性的共同发展。
Organizers noted that the “Families in Harmony: Ethnocultural Spring Celebration” served not only as a festive gathering but also as an important platform for intercultural dialogue and community engagement. NCCC Edmonton plans to continue organizing multicultural programs that create opportunities for cultural exchange and interaction, contributing to the continued growth of community harmony and cultural diversity across Alberta.
