On February 15, 2025, the “Alberta Ethnic Cultural Family Festival”, co-hosted by the NCCC-Edmonton and the West District Seniors Activity Centre, was successfully held with provincial government funding and broad community participation.

The ceremony opened with the national anthem. Former Chief Billy Morin delivered the land acknowledgement. Dr. Haidong Liang and Dr. Donald Yu spoke, thanking government and community support while highlighting multicultural values.

Ms. Mandy Quon shared the importance of Indigenous cultural heritage for community connections. Councillor Tim Cartmell acknowledged the event’s role in promoting unity. Mayor Amarjeet Sohi praised cultural diversity and encouraged building an inclusive city.

The event featured cheongsam shows, harmonica performances, lion dances, and Ethiopian dances, showcasing multicultural charm.

This gathering strengthened community bonds through cultural exchange. We look forward to Edmonton continuing to create vibrant community stories through multiculturalism

2025年2月15日，全加华人联会-埃德蒙顿分会与西区长者活动中心联合举办“亚省民族文化家庭节”，活动获亚省政府资助，吸引众多居民参与。

仪式在国歌声中开始。前酋长Billy Morin宣读土地确认声明。梁海东博士、虞仲孚医生分别致辞，感谢政府社区支持，强调多元文化价值。

Mandy Quon女士分享原住民文化传承对社区联结的重要性。市议员Tim Cartmell肯定活动促进社区团结。市长Amarjeet Sohi称赞文化多样性，鼓励共建包容城市。

活动现场带来旗袍秀、口琴、舞狮及埃塞俄比亚舞蹈等精彩表演，展现多元文化魅力。
