This lecture centers on the Lunar New Year, examining the cultural meanings, traditional practices, and its significance within Chinese and overseas Chinese communities. As part of the Chinese Traditional Culture Series, we are honored to welcome Dr. Jennifer Jay from the University of Alberta as our guest speaker. Her research interests include Chinese history and literature, Chinese Canadian history, and film studies, with a strong focus on cultural history and representation.
