On September 28, 2025, the Mid-Autumn Cultural Festival, co-hosted by the NCCC Edmonton Chapter, Johnson Crook Chinese Garden Association, Edmonton Conference Centre, and Edmonton Eat & Play, was successfully held at the Edmonton Chinese Garden with support from the Alberta Provincial Ethnic Cultural Grant Fund.
2025年9月28日，由全加华人联会（NCCC）埃德蒙顿分会、点城中国花园协会、埃德蒙顿会议中心及埃德蒙顿吃喝玩乐共同合办的中秋文化庆典，于埃德蒙顿中国花园圆满举行。活动获阿尔伯塔省民族文化资助基金支持，数百名社区居民欢聚一堂，共庆中秋佳节。
The event commenced with a vibrant dragon dance by Hongde Cultural and Sports Association, followed by the singing of the Canadian national anthem.
庆典在弘德文化体育协会的舞龙表演中拉开帷幕，金龙翻腾，点燃全场气氛。随后，全体来宾齐唱加拿大国歌。
Mr. Wing Choy, President of the Chinese Garden Society, delivered the opening address. Speeches were delivered by representatives including Dr. Donald Yu, Nicholas Fu, Emma Pietroleo Dardo, City Councillor Tim Cartmell, Michael Elliot, Dr. Marlene Dytoc, and Dr. Jennifer Jay, who highlighted the festival’s role in promoting multicultural harmony.
中国花园协会主席Wing Choy首先致谢。全加华人联会埃德蒙顿分会主席虞仲孚医生、吃喝玩乐总裁傅聪、Explore Edmonton首席执行官Emma Pietroleo Dardo、市议员Tim Cartmell、警察委员会主席Michael Elliot、亚省大学临床学教授 Dr. Marlene Dytoc以及文学Dr. Jennifer Jay等嘉宾先后致辞，一致肯定中秋庆典对促进社区多元文化交融的重要意义。
A memorable lantern parade featured guests paired with children for intergenerational interaction. Dr. Jennifer Jay later presented a lecture on Mid-Autumn legends, available online for public viewing.
灯笼巡游环节温馨动人，嘉宾、表演团体和社区居民手持灯笼，形成流光溢彩的长龙。活动特别安排嘉宾与儿童“一对一”结伴巡游，代际互动在孩子心中播下文化种子。NCCC董事曹文俊先生与一名五岁女孩结队巡游，愉快交流，女孩母亲在活动后特意致谢，称这是女儿珍贵的记忆。
巡游后，亚省大学教授Dr. Jennifer Jay主讲了“中秋传说与传统”文化讲座，讲座视频已发布在分会官网，供公众观看。
Performances included hula dance by Pacific Islands Dance Group, drumming by Hongde, qipao show by Zero Basics Seniors Association, Afghan instrumental music by Alibakhsh Hassanzada, Tai Chi sword by Wellness Sports Club, and folk songs by the Chinese Choir.
文艺汇演精彩纷呈：太平洋岛屿舞蹈团的草裙舞热情奔放，弘德的击鼓铿锵有力，零基础长者协会的旗袍秀典雅优美，Alibakhsh Hassanzada的阿富汗传统乐器弹唱深情款款，恒健体育会的太极剑行云流水，华人合唱团的民歌联唱悠扬动听，展现了社区的多元包容。
The festival concluded with mooncake tasting, celebrating cultural heritage and fostering cross-cultural understanding. The NCCC Edmonton Chapter pledged to continue promoting Chinese culture and welcomed future gatherings.
活动最后，大家共同品尝传统月饼，圆满落幕。此次庆典不仅是一场文化盛宴，更是一次“薪火相传”，让年轻一代感受中华文化魅力，促进族裔间理解与友谊。全加华人联会埃德蒙顿分会表示，将继续传承弘扬中华文化，期待明年再聚。
